Context
Her-Age is a curated platform for authenticated vintage and pre-loved luxury — selective intake and quality control at every step. NFTIZE is their internal Shopify app that turns a verified piece into a digital passport with an immutable history from first expert review through listing and resale.
The authentication system needed modernisation: data inconsistencies, brittle embed scenarios, deprecated endpoints, and opaque status transitions blocked scale.
What we changed
We aligned data models with current Shopify APIs, rebuilt critical flows end-to-end, and redesigned status UX so experts, sellers and buyers always know where an item sits in the pipeline.
- Modern Shopify API usage — GraphQL-first where appropriate, deprecated REST removed
- Consistent entity model linking products, verification jobs and passport records
- Transparent status machine — expert review, revision, approved, published, transferred
- Hardened embed and admin surfaces — fewer edge-case failures during peak intake
Expert and buyer experience
Experts work through a guided flow: evidence upload, condition grading, authenticity decision, passport minting. Sellers see progress without support tickets. Buyers get a verifiable digital passport tied to the physical item.
Outcome
Faster, more reliable authentication. Clearer interfaces for every role. A foundation Her-Age can scale without re-architecting the core app every season.
