Cashback and rakeback for an iGaming operator — rules, wallets, no spreadsheet VIP desk.

Under NDA we shipped a loyalty engine that pays cashback on net loss and rakeback on house edge, per brand, currency and VIP tier — calculated in the product, not in a night-shift Excel.

Two products, one ledger

Cashback returns a share of net loss. Rakeback returns a share of the house edge, closer to poker and live. The operator ran both as favours in chat. Numbers drifted. Arguments started. We put both into one ledger.

Rules, not favours

A rule is a brand, a game family, a currency, a VIP tier, a window. The engine closes the period, writes a payable, posts a wallet credit. Chargebacks and voided rounds unwind the line. Supervisors see the same number the player sees.

  • Net-loss cashback with a floor and a cap per period
  • Rakeback from settled house edge, not from turnover theatre
  • Multi-currency wallets — pay in the currency the player actually used
  • Manual overrides are tickets, not silent edits

NDA note

Brand names, jurisdictions and payout figures are not disclosed. Engagement scope: cashback and rakeback engine for an iGaming operator.
